Welcome Franco’s Ristorante Pizzeria was opened in November 1984 by Franco and Kim Sanna. Franco, from the Italian island of Sardinia had worked in restaurants and hotels both in Italy and England. We’re a friendly, family-run establishment that has grown along with the community. We don’t claim to be anything we’re not. We know all the ingredients that go into our cooking and make our own dough for the pizzas and bread and our own sauces for the pasta, meat and fish dishes. We have a great value house wine (litre bottle) and a wine list to suit all tastes and pockets. There is also a good selection of soft drinks, bottled beers, spirits and liqueurs. “An Italian restaurant in Ossy? It won’t last five minutes,” a quote in 1984 from an upstanding member of our community, who, over 20 years later, is still eating his words! We’ve been a part of so many family celebrations and now have long standing customers bringing their grandchildren in! |
